El-Sherbiny welcomed El-Azhari and his accompanying
delegation. He stressed the ongoing cooperation between the two ministries
across multiple issues. He also underlined the importance of maintaining
coordination to serve the interests of the nation and its citizens and to
support the urban renaissance Egypt is witnessing under the leadership of
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
El-Sherbiny praised the Ministry of Endowments for launching
the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative, which aims to address a wide range of
misconceptions and negative behaviors affecting citizens’ daily lives. He
directed cooperation with the ministry under the initiative to raise public
awareness on issues such as water conservation, public hygiene, and other
matters. He noted that these issues have a direct impact on both moral and
religious values in society.
El-Azhari thanked the Housing Minister for the warm
reception. He highlighted the importance of institutional networking and tackling
shared issues to ensure greater harmony among state institutions and benefit
both ministries. He also welcomed the anticipated cooperation within the
“Correct Your Concepts” initiative, launched earlier by the Cabinet, to rectify
misconceptions and address negative behaviors in society. He described this
effort as constructive cooperation to safeguard national resources, enhance
public awareness, rationalize resource consumption, and protect the
environment.
The two ministers also discussed ways to foster closer
cooperation between their ministries to support national projects that improve
citizens’ quality of life. They emphasized the importance of sustained
coordination on shared priorities. They further underlined the need for
continued efforts to achieve sustainable development and the development of
joint solutions that strengthen the role of both ministries in realizing
Egypt’s development vision.
