El-Sherbiny noted that the deadline for applying, which includes purchasing the application booklet, paying the reservation deposit, and administrative fees, has been extended until Sunday, September 14, 2025. The extension was granted to accommodate a large number of applicants and reflects the ministry's commitment to meeting the housing needs of all citizens.
Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage
Finance Fund, said a new video has been released to guide citizens through the
second part of the application process. This video is part of a series created
by the fund to simplify the application process.
According to Abdel Hamid, 234,000 citizens have registered
on the initiative's website, and 139,000 have paid the reservation deposit.
She stressed that applicants who have registered must
complete the process by paying the reservation deposit at a computerized post
office. Failure to complete all the steps outlined in the application booklet
means the application will not be officially submitted or reviewed.
Abdel Hamid added that the instructional video for the second phase of the application process can be viewed on the Digital Egypt website.
