ACUD Begins Visit to Madagascar to Share Capital City Experience

The Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) has begun an official visit to Madagascar to present Egypt’s experience in developing its New Administrative Capital to Malagasy officials, as the East African country explores plans to build a similar city.

ACUD officials stated that the Malagasy government had expressed interest in cooperating with the company to transfer Egypt’s capital development expertise and apply it to Madagascar’s planned urban project.

The delegation from ACUD is headed by Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who has begun holding meetings with officials to exchange experiences and involve Egyptian companies in the new city it seeks to implement.

Last year, ACUD won four international awards (two gold and two silver) from the Livcom Awards for Smart, Sustainable, and Livable Communities for the year 2024, competing against a select group of major real estate development companies worldwide.
