The meeting focused on streamlining the ministry’s performance following the integration of the international cooperation portfolio into its mandate. Abdelatty stated that the merger allows for a more integrated role in executing foreign policy across political, economic, and developmental dimensions.
Amid a volatile regional landscape, the Minister urged his
team to adopt proactive measures and multi-track diplomacy to defend Egypt’s
interests and safeguard national security.
Abdelatty also placed heavy emphasis on economic diplomacy, instructing Egyptian missions abroad to prioritize attracting foreign investment to support the national economy, boosting exports and penetrating new global markets for Egyptian goods, and coordinating closely with other government agencies to ensure unified external action.
