El-Sherbiny reviews El-Sewedy electricity projects in new cities

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with officials from El-Sewedy Company to follow up on the execution status and accelerate work on projects implemented by the company in several new cities.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

During the meeting, the execution status of electricity projects assigned to the company by NUCA and the Central Agency for Reconstruction was reviewed. These projects include electricity networks, transmission lines, and connection works to substations in the cities of New Sohag, 6th of October, Obour, New Alamein, the New Administrative Capital, 10th of Ramadan, New Cairo, New Obour, and the Saint Catherine Development Project.

El-Sherbiny emphasized the importance of regularly monitoring the execution status of the electricity projects being implemented by the company across several cities, and the need to intensify work to complete the projects within the scheduled timelines.

He directed the swift completion of all procedures to accelerate project implementation. He also called for an increase in the workforce at project sites and the resolution of pending issues in projects nearing completion. These steps aim to ensure the timely provision of electricity to new urban developments and expansion projects.
