The Minister emphasized the need to intensify daily inspection campaigns to immediately address any random practices that may affect the urban image of new cities. She stressed the importance of preventing illegal vehicle parking on public roads. She called for full compliance with Law No. 150 of 2020 regulating public parking. She also highlighted the need to organize microbus terminals and prevent random parking to ensure an orderly and disciplined system that protects citizens’ rights.
El-Minshawi affirmed that maintaining a civilized appearance
and public discipline is a shared responsibility that requires constant
vigilance. She noted that new cities represent a modern urban façade for the
Egyptian state. She stressed that any practices disrupting public order or
infringing on citizens’ rights will not be tolerated.
The Minister also stressed the importance of ensuring the
regular provision of public services. She called for greater attention to
cleanliness and landscaping works. She emphasized the need to prevent building
violations at an early stage and to deal firmly with them. She noted that these
tasks will be key factors in evaluating the performance of heads of new city
authorities.
She further instructed officials to maintain continuous
communication with residents. She urged them to listen to complaints and work
to resolve them, including electronically submitted grievances. She affirmed
that the main objective is to serve citizens and facilitate access to
high-quality services.
