The ceremony was attended by Engineer Mohamed El Gawsaky, the newly appointed CEO of GAFI, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, GAFI, and the heads of its affiliated agencies.
El-Khatib thanked Hossam Heiba, highlighting his dedicated
efforts throughout his term, including significant work in resolving investor
issues, removing obstacles, and advancing digital transformation initiatives.
The Minister noted that GAFI witnessed a smooth handover
between the previous and current leadership, reflecting strong cooperation and
a commitment to continuing the reforms implemented during Heiba’s tenure.
He added that El Gawsaky will focus on several key files in
the upcoming period to advance ongoing reforms and will monitor GAFI’s
operations and development proposals on a daily basis.
For his part, Heiba expressed pride in the honor,
emphasizing that the achievements were the result of teamwork and continuous
collaboration among GAFI staff and all relevant parties. He wished the
Authority continued success in the next phase.
El Gawsaky, CEO of GAFI, affirmed his commitment to
continuing reform, development, and modernization efforts within the Authority,
cooperating with all employees, and listening to proposals aimed at improving
the work system.
This recognition reflects the Ministry of Investment and
Foreign Trade’s commitment to appreciating leaders who have contributed
