The industrial project, located in 10th of Ramadan City, will be built on an area of 160,000 square meters with an estimated investment of $200 million, making it one of the largest stationery factories in the region.
Heiba confirmed that the project has been granted a Golden
License by the Cabinet and reflects growing confidence in Egypt's investment
climate. GAFI's Chinese Investments Unit will monitor the execution phases to
ensure smooth implementation.
The factory will enhance local manufacturing capacity in the
office supplies sector, providing high-quality products for the domestic market
and supporting exports to Arab, African, and European markets via free trade
agreements. The facility is projected to achieve annual sales of $150 million
and create 3,000 job opportunities. The main factory is scheduled to open in 2027.
Dr. Nahed Youssef, Head of the Industrial Development
Authority (IDA), noted the government's strong support, including the immediate
lease of a 20,000 square meter ready-made factory to Deli to start operations
and launch the first phase of 180 products while the main plant is under
construction.
Huang Jin Jye, General Manager of Deli Group, confirmed that establishing a factory in Egypt is a strategic step in the Group's global expansion, capitalizing on Egypt's advanced infrastructure and strategic location to serve as a promising manufacturing hub for office supplies and smart office technology.
