El-Sherbiny emphasized that the meeting aimed to monitor the
progress of projects supporting the industrial sector and enhancing its role as
a driver of comprehensive economic development. This includes promoting local
industry by providing the necessary serviced land for industrial investment and
establishing major industrial projects.
The meeting addressed the implementation status of
infrastructure projects in the industrial zones of 10th of Ramadan City, New
Alamein City, El Sadat City, New Borg El Arab, and New October, specifically
focusing on water, sanitation, roads, and electricity.
The Minister stressed the commitment to completing all
remaining work in the industrial zones according to the established timelines
and highlighted the importance of regular monitoring of infrastructure
development on the ground.
