Among the topics discussed were social insurance and
contracting insurance, particularly in light of the law governing facilities
guarding and money transfer companies, and defining the insurance treatment for
employees in security and guarding companies.
Dr. Mohamed Manzour, Board Member of the Cairo Chamber of
Commerce and Head of the Facilities Guarding and Money Transfer Companies
Division, stated that the discussion of social insurance-related topics comes
amidst requests from companies to issue a circular to be disseminated to all
Social Insurance Authority offices.
Manzour added that the Division constantly follows up on the
demands of its sector's board of directors and general assembly to develop and
grow this important sector, in line with the Chamber's development plan and
Egypt Vision 2030.
Wael El-Bassiouny, Deputy Head of the Facilities Guarding
and Money Transfer Companies Division, mentioned that the Division's meeting
agenda was diverse, covering economic and social topics relevant to the sector,
within the Division's developmental plan that targets the sector's growth.
El-Bassiouny pointed out that the Division discusses all
suggestions from its members and affiliated companies, along with ideas and
visions that would keep pace with modern developments. He affirmed that the
Division will spare no effort towards its members for the development of the
facilities guarding and money transfer companies sector.
Attendees exchanged views on key topics, including social insurance and developmental matters, and how to cooperate with banks to establish a framework for collaboration with companies in this sector. Representatives from some banks participated in the meeting to discuss future cooperation methods that align with the sector's requirements.
