Elhefny: Cairo Airport Terminal 4 cost is $3.5B, self-financed

Elhefny: Cairo Airport Terminal 4 cost is $3.5B, self-financed

Minister of Civil Aviation Captain Sameh Elhefny, announced that the construction of Cairo International Airport's Terminal 4 cost $3.5 billion, and was self-financed.

Elhefny stated on Tuesday that the new terminal is designed to accommodate at least 30 million passengers annually.

The Minister also indicated that EgyptAir is set to receive 28 new aircraft over the next two years, starting from next December. He said that 10 of the new aircraft are wide-body, with the remainder being smaller.
