The Cabinet’s Media Center indicated that Egypt’s score on
this index rose from 75.8 points in 2023 to 77.9 points in 2025.
It explained that this improvement is due to the
government’s efforts to enhance telecommunications services, most notably
internet connectivity.
It pointed out that the number of fixed broadband internet
subscribers reached approximately 12.2 million by July 2025, marking an annual
increase of 8.4%, which supports the objectives of the ICT Strategy 2030.
