Talaat Moustafa launches OMR1.5 bln YAMAL, JOOD projects in Oman

Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) announced it will soon launch two major new projects in Oman: YAMAL and JOOD, with total investments reaching approximately 1.5 billion Omani Riyals.

TMG unveiled the project details during its participation in the October Urban, Home and Construction Exhibition and Conference held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat, which began on Monday.

The Group showcased its real-world achievements through an interactive experience, which included a live broadcast from Madinaty in Egypt. This city will serve as the model for the Group's projects in Oman. The live broadcast was used to demonstrate the lifestyle within the city.

The two projects are located west of the Omani capital, Muscat, and will collectively offer about 13,000 residential and hotel units across an area exceeding 4.9 million square meters. The projects will be developed simultaneously and connected by an electric train.

YAMAL: Located on the coast of the Gulf of Oman with a beachfront stretching 1,760 meters, the project is designed as a luxury tourist and residential community. It will feature a world-class marina, international hotels, marine sports facilities, integrated services, and diverse residential units overlooking the sea and the marina.

JOOD: Situated within Sultan Haitham City, this project is designed as a fully integrated development introducing a new concept of smart, sustainable communities. It will include diverse residential units, vast green spaces, as well as service, commercial, entertainment, medical, and educational facilities, alongside a sports and social club.

Talaat Moustafa Group stated that its Omani projects aim to develop a sustainable and upscale urban and tourist environment. Buildings will not occupy more than 15% of the total area, with approximately 50% of the land dedicated to green spaces and services.

The Group's booth at the exhibition also showcased its renowned SouthMED project on the Egyptian North Coast and its international luxury hotel projects, such as the Four Seasons hotels.

TMG's expansion into Oman falls under its regional growth strategy, leveraging its nearly 55 years of accumulated expertise across different countries, following the success of its cities in Egypt: Al Rehab, Madinaty, and Noor, and its Banan project in Saudi Arabia. The move aligns with its commitment to delivering distinctive real estate and tourism products that meet the aspirations of the Omani market and comply with Oman Vision 2040.
