New Alamein City unveils housing, infrastructure development plan

Ahmed Ibrahim, Chairman of the New Alamein City Authority, announced this year’s plan, which includes large-scale housing projects alongside infrastructure and service facilities.

Ibrahim stated that the authority has allocated EGP 50 billion in the 2025/2026 fiscal year budget to complete infrastructure, service, and housing projects, in line with the implementation schedule set for ongoing developments.

He noted that total spending on housing projects to date has reached EGP 150 billion, with 41,000 units under construction at various levels, and progress advancing to late implementation stages.

Ibrahim added that 8,000 housing units have already been delivered in the Sakan Misr, Latin District, Distinguished District, Beach Towers, and Mazarine Compound projects. The plan also targets handing over 10,000 additional units to beneficiaries before the end of 2025.
