Gold prices in Egypt opened lower on Sunday, August 25. The price per gram decreased by about 10 Egyptian pounds compared to the previous day. This decline aligns with typical market fluctuations both domestically and internationally.

Gold prices in Egypt today:

14 Karat: decreased to 2303 EGP per gram.

18 Karat: recorded approximately 2971 EGP per gram.

21 Karat: Declined to 3455 EGP per gram.

24 Karat: Reached 3949 EGP per gram.

Gold Pound price: The price of a gold sovereign decreased to 27,640 Egyptian pounds. This reflects the value of its gold content and may vary slightly between sellers.

Global gold prices rose 1.12% on Friday, closing at $2,512 per ounce (equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat.
