the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund's website (https://www.shmff.gov.eg),
have been divided into three categories to simplify the application process,

Finance Fund, reported significant initial interest, with over 53,000 citizens
accessing the website and more than 16,000 having paid registration fees and
downloaded the relevant booklets.
The current offering notably includes "green social
housing units" as part of the "Green Architecture" initiative.

Application periods for reserving housing units vary by
category, requiring citizens to confirm their specific deadlines. Registration
fees can be paid electronically through the digital Egypt platform, while
administrative fees and reservation down payments are handled at mechanized
post offices in the governorates and new cities where units are offered.
For units in new cities, particularly for those outside the
priority list from the "Housing for All Egyptians 5" announcement,
electronic registration fee payments begin July 15, 2025. Down payments at
mechanized post offices are scheduled from July 28 to August 4, 2025, for
citizens with disabilities, and from August 5 to August 28, 2025, for all citizens,
including People of Determination.
For ready-for-delivery units in governorates and units under
construction (36-month delivery) with priority for previous applicants in
Shatta, Hurghada, and Ezbet El Borg, electronic registration fee payments also
start July 15, 2025. Down payments at post offices are set for July 28 to
August 4, 2025, for citizens with disabilities, and from August 5 to October
30, 2025, for all citizens, including People of Determination.
Similarly, for housing units offered to all citizens with a 36-month delivery timeframe in various governorates, electronic registration fee payments commence July 15, 2025.
