The Mövenpick Cairo West will offer a comprehensive range of amenities, including 220 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a café, a 500-square-meter ballroom, and four meeting rooms. Guests will also have access to extensive leisure and wellness facilities, such as a spa, a fitness center, and two swimming pools.
Paul Stevens, Chief Operating Officer for Accor's Premium,
Midscale, and Economy Brands in the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey,
highlighted that the partnership with Crest Developments will significantly
boost Accor's hotel portfolio in Egypt. This agreement aligns with Accor's
strategy to expand into promising markets across the region, including Saudi
Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait, driven by the rapid growth
of the travel sector.
Accor already has a strong presence in Egypt, boasting 38 operational hotels under six brands, totaling 12,900 rooms. Furthermore, a robust pipeline of 20 additional hotels (6,700 rooms) is in development. Notable existing properties include the Novotel Cairo 6th of October and the Mövenpick Cairo Media City, with the highly anticipated Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza also set for completion in the near future.
