Finance: Return of e-application for expats’ car initiative

The Ministry of Finance confirmed on Saturday the return of technical support services on the electronic application (e-application) for the initiative to facilitate the import of cars for Egyptians abroad. The Ministry stressed its full support for this initiative and its commitment to its terms, noting that some updates were made after a technical glitch occurred.
The Customs Committee was directed to quickly review
and approve citizens' requests on the e-application for the initiative to
facilitate the import of cars for Egyptians abroad, enabling them to complete
shipping procedures. The Ministry noted that there is ongoing coordination with
all relevant authorities to ensure the regular provision of technical support
services to beneficiaries of this initiative.
