The mosque will feature multi-purpose halls, an Islamic library, and Quran memorization classrooms. The sports club, managed and operated by Sporting Club Company, spans 45 acres and includes 34 fields for various sports, Olympic swimming pools, fitness halls, and facilities equipped to host international tournaments.
In a related development, the “Orange Park” project extends
over 36 acres, providing a recreational outlet with pedestrian paths, a
restaurant complex, and an open-air theater with a capacity of 2,500 people.
Engineer Ayman El Kousey, Managing Director and CEO of
Midar, emphasized that these initiatives are part of a strategic vision to
transform the company’s cities into integrated communities that attract
investment in New Cairo, leveraging the integration of infrastructure and
services.
The sports club also features Olympic and water polo pools,
recreational swimming pools, fitness halls, green spaces, social and service
buildings, restaurants, and retail outlets, all equipped to host tournaments
and sporting events.
The “Orange Park” area includes an arboretum garden, walking
paths, play areas, bazaar zones for commercial and entertainment activities, a
specialized restaurant complex offering diverse dining experiences, an open-air
theater with seating for 2,000–2,500 people, and designated parking facilities.
Engineer El Kousey added that Midar works to provide
services within its cities to offer residents and investors a diverse urban
community that meets daily life needs. He noted that this aligns with the
company’s strategic vision for developing modern cities, highlighting that
Midar’s cities have become increasingly attractive for investments in New Cairo
due to the availability of infrastructure and comprehensive commercial,
entertainment, sports, religious, health, and educational services.
