Accompanied by Deputy Minister for Utilities Ahmed Omran and officials from the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), El-Minshawi toured main roads, housing projects, and maintenance works.
The Minister stressed the need for strict adherence to
quality standards and increased oversight to prevent randomness or violations
that could impact the city’s civilized appearance.
During the tour, El-Minshawi inspected the Dar Misr
Al-Andalus project in the Third Settlement, consisting of 70 buildings, to
review ongoing landscaping and efficiency upgrades.
"Field monitoring is continuous to ensure general
discipline and preserve the unique urban character of new cities," the
Minister said. She added that providing high-quality services to citizens is a
"shared responsibility" requiring full commitment from all relevant
authorities.
The Minister emphasized that the ministry operates under
state directives to ensure development matches the scale of national growth,
noting that "citizen satisfaction is the primary measure of success."
At the conclusion of the tour, Engineer El-Minshawi ordered daily campaigns to remove encroachments and violations, alongside a review of cleanliness standards and the maintenance of green spaces.
