The project marks Saoud Urban Development’s first expansion outside the Gulf region. Led by Mustafa Talha and CEO Sheikha Mariam Al Qasimi, the company aims to bring its UAE-based development model, focused on quality and innovation, to Egypt. Mustafa Talha stated that the project represents a pivotal milestone for the company and reflects the strength of the strategic partnership between Egypt and the UAE. He added that the project aims to redefine standards of upscale living in Egypt through world-class destinations.
Raki Phillips, Regional President of Accor, said that the
launch of the Swissôtel brand in Cairo aligns with the group’s strategy to
strengthen its presence in key cities experiencing strong tourism and urban
growth. Accor currently manages 38 hotels in Egypt, offering over 13,000 rooms,
and plans to add 22 new contracted projects, which will increase its capacity
by approximately 7,000 additional rooms in the near future.
