El-Sherbiny emphasized the continuation of the Ministry of Housing’s efforts to remove building violations and encroachments in new cities and urban communities. He highlighted the ongoing campaigns to prevent unauthorized construction and maintain the urban aesthetic, noting that instructions have been issued to the heads and officials of city authorities to address violations immediately and take the necessary legal measures.
The building violations included the construction of
buildings of varying heights and sizes in several locations, in addition to the
addition of floors (ground floor and first upper floor) without obtaining
building permits, in areas under the jurisdiction of the Sector One and Sector
Two Development Authorities of the North West Coast.
