Finance minister invites Korean companies to boost investment activities in Egypt

Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk said Egypt’s economy is improving through a strong partnership with the private sector. He explained that Egypt’s business climate has become more competitive due to the government’s ongoing approach focused on incentives and facilitation for investors.

Kouchouk made the remarks during a meeting with Kim Young Hyun, Ambassador of South Korea to Cairo, on the occasion of the end of the ambassador’s tenure in Egypt. He expressed appreciation for the ambassador’s tangible efforts in strengthening economic relations between the two countries.

He called on South Korean companies to expand and diversify their investment activities in Egypt. He urged them to benefit from promising economic opportunities that offer strong competitive advantages.

Kim Young Hyun said he would always value his period of service in Egypt. He expressed appreciation for the initiatives of the Minister of Finance in support of both local and foreign business communities.

He added that Egypt has witnessed positive economic developments. He noted that these developments are encouraging greater private sector participation in economic activity.
