Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf, Head of the New Suez City Authority, oversaw the procedures to reclaim several plots of land in the First Industrial District due to a lack of seriousness and non-compliance with allocation conditions. This resulted in the Authority recovering lands with an estimated value of approximately EGP 24.6 million, in a move aimed at maximizing the benefit of state assets and re-offering them to support the city’s development and investment plans.
This comes within the framework of preserving state lands
and ensuring their proper management, in coordination with and with the support
of the leadership of the General Administration of Urban Planning Police.
Makhlouf affirmed the continuation of regular monitoring of
state-owned lands within New Suez City and the firm handling of any violations
of allocation conditions, terms and conditions booklets, and real estate
regulations. This ensures that lands are redirected to serious investors and
supports the city’s comprehensive development efforts.
