During the meeting,
the Ambassador highlighted Egypt’s significant development in infrastructure,
including road networks and ports, and emphasized the promising opportunities
the Suez Canal Economic Zone offers Japanese industries, including energy
projects, logistics, and high-value manufacturing.
He also affirmed
Egypt’s interest in expanding partnerships with Japan in public-private
partnerships, infrastructure financing, and export-oriented industrial projects
targeting regional markets.
For his part, the JOIN
President praised the substantial investment potential and promising
opportunities he observed during his visit to Egypt, confirming the
institution’s commitment to build on this important visit by exploring cooperation
in energy, water, desalination, and infrastructure projects.
He also welcomed the
considerable investment opportunities and incentives offered by the Suez Canal
Economic Zone.
It was agreed to
continue consultations and coordination in the coming period to discuss
specific investment projects by the Japanese institution and to strengthen
existing partnerships, thereby contributing to expanding economic cooperation
between Egypt and Japan.
