El-Etreby urged the Taiheiyo Cement subsidiary to expand its
presence in Egypt, highlighting the country's role as a strategic manufacturing
hub and a gateway to Arab and African markets.
Taiheiyo Engineering currently provides technical
consultancy to cement producers globally, including firms in Egypt.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed to coordinate direct talks between the Japanese company and Egyptian manufacturers to finalize potential investment plans.
