Housing Ministry launches whatsapp service for investor complaints

Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), announced the addition of a WhatsApp service to receive investor complaints and inquiries.

This move follows directives from Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, to enhance direct communication with investors, swiftly address their demands, and remove any obstacles they face, thereby supporting the investment environment and regulating the real estate market.

A dedicated official WhatsApp number, (01140554000), has been assigned for direct communication with the Investor and Real Estate Developer Handling and Follow-up Unit at NUCA.

The Ministry stated that this step confirms the Unit's role in providing an effective and direct communication channel to receive complaints and inquiries, study proposals, accelerate the resolution of investment issues, and ensure improved service quality and institutional performance.

The Unit is specifically tasked with promptly reviewing and studying investor complaints and proposals, simplifying procedures and explaining engagement mechanisms with NUCA, clarifying available investment opportunities and application processes, ensuring continuous follow-up until issues are resolved, coordinating directly with NUCA sectors and departments to overcome hurdles, holding periodic meetings with investors and developers (individually or collectively) to hear feedback, and preparing regular reports on problems raised and progress made.

Minister El-Sherbiny affirmed that the Ministry will be uncompromising against any attempts to harm the real estate market and will protect the rights of serious investors and developers. He stressed that activating this official channel underscores the Ministry's commitment to supporting investment, establishing transparency, and creating a secure, organized investment environment.

The Ministry affirmed its commitment to continuously developing follow-up and communication mechanisms to provide all necessary support for investors and developers, thereby driving urban development projects and achieving the state's goals.
