The Minister visited the site of the presidential initiative
“Housing for All Egyptians” in New Alamein, which consists of 83 buildings
totaling 1,992 housing units. He reviewed the ongoing utilities, construction,
and finishing works at the project. He directed that work on the unfinished
buildings be accelerated, the site be organized, and preparations be made to
deliver a number of units to beneficiaries as soon as possible.
El-Sherbiny and his delegation also toured the Heritage
City, which spans an area of 260 acres. The city contains approximately 70
facilities, several of which are already operational. The Heritage City
includes a variety of structures, such as the main lake, the main square and
commercial plazas, exhibition grounds, a mosque, a church, a Roman theater, a
conference hall, commercial and hotel buildings, the old district, and a cinema
complex. Many of these facilities have been completed and are now in operation.
