SDC stated that it will not only offer a new hotel product
but also introduce a new culture within this vital sector, embracing a vision
that bridges the past with the future.
The statement added that LUXOR's strategy focuses on
selecting locations with high cultural, architectural, or future value. The
brand plans to launch its first hotels in three key areas. The first is West
Cairo and the vicinity of the Grand Egyptian Museum, forming Egypt’s largest
new tourism and cultural hub. The second is East Cairo, near the American
University and the New Administrative Capital, seen as the fastest-growing
areas of the city and a new center for upscale hospitality and international
business. The third is the North Coast at Ras El Hekma, seen as the future of
luxury beach tourism in the region.
The brand aims to manage 2,000 hotel keys within the first
five years, with plans to expand internationally after the success of the LUXOR
hotel chain in Egypt.
The fund also intends to operate across multiple activities
beyond hotel management. It will include a platform that generates startups in
sectors such as furniture manufacturing, finishing materials, accessories,
furnishings, and smart architecture technologies.
