Adib highlighted the selection of Hisham Talaat Moustafa by Forbes Middle East as the sole Egyptian on its 2025 list of the most powerful CEOs in the real estate and hospitality sectors. Adib emphasized that this recognition reflects Moustafa's prominent standing and his more than 40 years of experience in the sector.
Adib pointed out that Talaat Moustafa Group's (TMG) projects
have expanded beyond Egypt to include several countries, notably Saudi Arabia,
alongside a massive portfolio of hotels within Egypt. Hisham Talaat is playing
a key role in the revival and development of historic hotels, aligning with the
state’s vision to increase tourist numbers from 15 million to 30 million, which
supports the tourism sector and enhances Egypt's global standing.
The report noted that projects like Banan City in Saudi Arabia and SouthMED on Egypt's North Coast contributed to a nearly threefold increase in TMG's real estate sales in 2024, reaching $10 billion after the sale of approximately 30,000 units. This performance reflects Hisham Talaat Moustafa’s powerful strategy in growing the Group's portfolio and boosting its returns.
