According to
a statement from the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Media Office, the meeting focused
on the Al-Rufail Economic City project, for which a memorandum of understanding
(MoU) was signed last May between the Investment Commission and TMG. Officials
discussed the main challenges facing the project’s implementation and the ways
to overcome these challenges.
Prime
Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperative
relations and productive economic partnerships with brotherly Arab countries,
highlighting the need to enhance investment ties to achieve sustainable
development and shared economic prosperity.
Hisham
Talaat Moustafa reviewed the project’s progress, affirming the commitment to
continue work according to the approved implementation mechanisms.
