Kouchouk stated during the session titled “Digital
Transformation in Tax Administration” held as part of the International
Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington that
simplifying and digitizing procedures help reduce voluntary compliance costs
and attract new taxpayers. He emphasized the importance of effectively utilizing
technological solutions to enhance the quality of tax services and protect the
rights of partners.
He added that the ministry is working to develop qualified
human resources capable of operating advanced electronic systems for the
benefit of the tax community. He noted the creation of a strong framework for
effective and transparent communication with the tax community to explain and
promote ongoing reform initiatives.
