On a monthly basis, July 2025 saw remittances reach a historical high, jumping 26.3% to about $3.8 billion, up from $3.0 billion in July 2024.
Remittances from Egyptian expats hit record high
Remittances from Egyptians working abroad surged by 49.7% to approximately $23.2 billion during the first seven months of 2025, compared to $15.5 billion in the same period last year.
