The agreements cover various sectors, including:
Health and medical sciences: An MoU was signed by Egypt's
Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and Tunisia's Minister
of Economy and Planning, Samir Abid.
Youth and sports: Two executive programs for 2026-2027 were
signed by Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhy, and Tunisia's
Minister of Trade and Export Development, Samir Abid.
Export development: An MoU was signed by Egypt's Minister of
Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib, and Tunisia's Minister of Trade
and Export Development, Samir Abid.
Social affairs: An executive program was signed by Egypt's
Minister of Social Solidarity, Maya Morsy, and Tunisia's Minister of Economy
and Planning, Samir Abid.
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs): An MoU
was signed by Bassel Rahmy, CEO of Egypt's MSME Development Agency, and Mohamed
Ben Youssef, the Tunisian ambassador to Cairo.
Consumer protection: An executive program was signed by
Ibrahim El-Seguini, head of Egypt's Consumer Protection Agency, and Mohamed Ben
Youssef, the Tunisian ambassador to Cairo.
Diplomatic studies: An MoU was signed by Ihab Fahmy, Egypt's
assistant foreign minister for Arab affairs, and Mohamed Ben Youssef, the
Tunisian ambassador to Cairo.
The two prime ministers concluded the ceremony by signing the minutes of the 18th session of the joint committee.
