El-Sherbiny discusses Maspero, New Alamein projects with Orascom

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Sherif El-Sherbiny, met with representatives from Orascom to follow up on the progress of several projects the company is undertaking in new cities. The meeting, attended by officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority, aimed to remove any obstacles facing the work.

The meeting reviewed the status of Orascom's projects in the New Alamein City, including the Heritage City, the Latin Quarter, and the beach towers in the LD01 area. The discussion also covered the supply of components for these projects and the progress of the Marina towers.

In this context, the minister directed a push to accelerate work on the heritage city to complete it and to increase the labor force in the Latin Quarter to finish the remaining units and work for on-schedule delivery to those who have reserved them.

The meeting also addressed the progress of water and sanitation projects being executed by Orascom in the New Administrative Capital and a residential project. Additionally, the status of work on the Maspero towers was discussed, including the commercial, recreational, and residential towers, as well as the surrounding plaza and the project's power station.

El-Sherbiny concluded the meeting by emphasizing the importance of the projects Orascom is implementing, affirming his support to accelerate the work and ensure they are completed on schedule.
