Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif El-Sherbiny announced the allocation of 568 plots of land in the Al-Rabia district of Shorouk City. The plots were assigned through the 11th manual public lottery to residents who had their land status regularized according to the city's approved detailed plans.

El-Sherbiny said the move aims to expedite the regularization of land tenure for residents and boost development in newly added areas within several new cities. He noted that the 11th lottery was held for clients who had paid the required deposits for the approved plots in the Al-Rabia district.

Bassam Mohamed Fadl, head of the Shorouk City Authority, said the lottery was held in the presence of Ehab El-Markab, Assistant Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Real Estate Affairs.

The land plots allocated in Al-Rabia were 219 plots of 209 square meters, 202 plots of 276 square meters, 70 plots of 400 square meters, 60 plots of 500 square meters, 15 plots of 600 square meters, and 2 plots of 800 square meters.

Fadl added that residents were received starting at 10 a.m. for registration, and the doors were closed at noon for the lottery to begin. Attendees were required to present proof of identity and the original payment receipt.
