Madinaty Golf Club captured the 2025 Egyptian Golf Super Cup after overcoming league champions Palm Hills in a thrilling final at Gezira Club. The victory completed a historic double for Madinaty, adding the Super Cup to their Egypt Cup triumph for the 2024/2025 season. It also marked their second win over Palm Hills in just three months, following the Egypt Cup final.

Both sides delivered a strong and competitive performance worthy of opening the new season for the Egyptian Golf Federation. The match ended in a 3.5–3.5 draw, sending the contest to a playoff hole – golf’s equivalent of a penalty shootout in football. The decisive showdown featured Madinaty’s Ayman Shafie and Mohamed Salah against Palm Hills’ Burhan Rateb and Seif Shaheen.

The Egyptian Golf Federation hosted the trophy presentation, attended by Chairman Omar Hisham Talaat, Gezira Club Vice Chairman Engineer Ihab Leheta, Federation Vice Chairman Engineer Mohamed Anwar, and Board Member & National Teams Committee Head Ahmed El-Shelqany.

Madinaty captain Karim El-Sabaa hailed the triumph as the club’s second title of 2025, noting that the win will provide a major morale boost as the team targets the league championship in the new season.
