Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, has been following up on the progress of 105,000 housing units in New October City. The goal is to speed up the work, accelerate construction, and deliver the units.

Engineer Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, welcomed members of the Housing Ministry's Technical Support Unit, along with officials from the New Urban Communities Authority and several city authorities, to inspect and monitor the work on the "Diarna" middle-income housing project in the city.

The city is undergoing a major urban boom with a diverse range of housing developments. The Authority's head, Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, said they are committed to strict adherence to quality standards and approved technical specifications. He noted that around 105,000 housing units are currently under construction in the city, in addition to 494 units within the "Diarna" middle-income housing project.

Engineer Mahmoud Murad, Deputy Head of the New October City Authority, and housing officials conducted a site visit to monitor the construction of concrete structures, review designs, internal and external finishes, and check the status of the facades' formation and colors for the Diarna project.

During the tour, all aspects and developments of the project were reviewed to exchange expertise and ensure continuous coordination among the city authorities, the Technical Support Unit, and the Central Department for Construction in the New Urban Communities Authority's Development and Construction Sector.

The Ministry of Housing said the project is part of its vision to provide sustainable, high-quality housing for all segments of society, enhancing the quality of life and preserving resources for future generations.
