Dr. Ibrahim presented Egypt’s urban development vision,
highlighting urban patterns across past decades, the main challenges facing
development, the issue of population growth, and the national plan to double
the inhabited area from 7 to 14 percent through the establishment of new urban
centers. He also reviewed efforts to upgrade the built environment and outlined
the national housing strategy.
The meeting also included a review of efforts to promote
real estate export and attract investment from foreign and local sources as
well as Egyptians abroad. This included initiatives tailored to Egyptians
living overseas such as the "Your Home in Egypt" initiative and its
diverse offerings. He also highlighted investment opportunities in New Alamein,
the New Administrative Capital, New Suez, New Mansoura and other cities, in
addition to the Beit Al Watan program.
Ibrahim addressed Egypt’s approach to exporting its
experience in sustainable urban development, including cooperation with
international partners and participation in relevant forums. He emphasized the
strategic significance of this effort and the roles of the entities involved.
