Gold prices stable in Egypt Tuesday

Gold prices remained stable in Egypt today Tuesday, after a significant surge yesterday. The price of 21-karat gold jumped by approximately 105 Egyptian pounds, driven by a strong rise in global gold prices.

According to the latest updates from the Gold Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, here are the gold prices in Egypt today:

24-Karat gold: 5,371 EGP/gram

21-Karat gold: 4,700 EGP/gram

18-Karat gold: 4,028 EGP/gram

Gold Pound: 37,600 EGP

The price of gold in international markets reached approximately $3,371 per ounce. This rise is supported by continued investor concerns over increasing US debt and a decline in demand for treasury bonds, which boosts the appeal of safe-haven assets, with gold at the forefront.

Experts believe that the local stability is due to a balance between supply and demand in the markets. Meanwhile, global prices are poised for further upward movement if economic tensions persist or if new decisions are made by global central banks.
