The Minister pointed out that these facilitations reflect a clear strategic vision of the Ministry to advance the development process and come within the framework of the directives of the political leadership to alleviate the burdens on citizens.
Engineer Hisham Darwish, the Minister's advisor and
supervisor of the Construction and Contracting Sector, and Chairman of the
Housing Finance Fund Board, stated that these facilitations address citizens'
requests for new arrangements regarding the Fund's financial dues. This offers
an opportunity for clients to regularize their status through clear and
specific executive rules, ultimately contributing to economic stability.
He specified that these facilitations cover residential,
professional, administrative, and commercial units, as well as villas involved
in pending lawsuits or with primary or appellate court rulings. Eligibility
requires full cash payment of the outstanding price, along with all judicial,
administrative, and other associated expenses.
He further stated that these facilitations are void if the client has filed a lawsuit against the Fund, unless all such lawsuits are withdrawn. Additionally, properties with issued cancellation decisions or final, legally binding judgments are ineligible, as they fall under the Fund's real estate regulations and Board of Directors' decisions.
