El-Sherbiny follows up on development of industrial zones in several cities

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, followed up on the completion of road development and efficiency improvement works in the industrial zones of the 10th of Ramadan City, New Beni Suef, and Obour City. These works include sidewalks, curbs, utilities, lighting, and more.

El-Sherbiny stressed the importance of adhering to timetables and technical standards to ensure quality implementation and project sustainability. He noted that these works aim to create an attractive investment environment and improve working and production conditions, thus enhancing sustainable industrial development in the new cities.

Engineer Alaa Abdullah Moustafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, conducted a field tour to inspect the progress of road development and maintenance work in a number of industrial areas in the city. The tour included monitoring asphalt and interlocking paving works in Industrial Zone A1. This is part of a comprehensive plan to rehabilitate the main roads and improve their efficiency to accommodate intensive industrial use.

Moustafa also monitored the ongoing road repair and upgrading work in the A3 Industrial Zone, as well as the progress of paving and maintenance work in the 2 million m² industrial zone.

The tour also included the industrial zones (A5 and B2), where the most significant actual needs for development and upgrading work were identified in these areas, in preparation for the development of a comprehensive implementation plan aimed at improving the work environment and enhancing investment attractiveness.

Engineer Ahmed Abdel-Gaber Abdullah, Chairman of the New Beni Suef City Authority, and Authority officials conducted an inspection tour to monitor the completion of development and upgrading work on some roads in the city's medium-sized industrial zone, at a total cost of EGP 30 million.

Abdullah explained that the surface asphalt layer of some roads in the city's medium-sized industrial zone is being completed according to the highest quality standards to serve investors and drive development in the city.

Engineer Ahmed Rashad, Chairman of the Obour City Development Authority, pointed out that the surface asphalt layer works are being completed starting from 50th Street, up to 100th Street, towards 400th Street, and the rest of the development works will be completed with the availability of the required materials, as part of the plan to raise the efficiency and develop roads and sidewalks and complete the design sector and corridors for the northern and western extension in the industrial zone (A).
