Shimi emphasized the depth of the historical and strategic relations between Egypt and the Kingdom, and their peoples, and the remarkable growth they are witnessing at all levels. He also expressed his aspiration to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
He reviewed the most important projects currently being
implemented by the Ministry's subsidiaries in various sectors, and their role
in advancing development and strengthening the national economy. Promising
investment opportunities available to subsidiaries in a number of vital sectors
were also discussed, including the chemical, textile, pharmaceutical, and metal
industries, as well as real estate development, contracting, and tourism and
hotel assets. This is particularly true in light of the reform measures,
facilitations, and incentives provided by the state to investors, improving the
business environment and attracting more foreign investment.
He also emphasized the importance of bilateral
cooperation between the two countries in supporting joint projects and
strengthening trade and investment relations. He noted the Ministry's full
readiness to provide all possible facilities to Saudi investors and enhance
partnerships through economically viable joint investment projects, achieving
mutual benefit and supporting development plans in both countries.
Al-Hussaini emphasized the strong and distinguished relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the keenness to expand cooperation in various fields to support sustainable development in both countries and contribute to achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He pointed to Egypt's investment potential and distinguished geographical location, as well as the agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments between the two countries.
