IGT Solutions plans to increase its workforce in Egypt
to 2,000 specialists by 2027, up from 450 currently, in a move that will
enhance the creation of new job opportunities and growth in outsourcing
services exports.
Dr. Amr Talaat stressed that the outsourcing industry
in Egypt is witnessing rapid growth. The number of outsourcing centers
established by international companies has tripled over the past three years,
reaching more than 200 centers. This is a result of ongoing efforts to expand
the skills base and create an attractive business environment that enables
companies to expand their existing centers and establish new ones.
He noted that these new centers represent an important
addition that consolidates Egypt's position on the global outsourcing industry
map. He clarified that the services provided by outsourcing centers in Egypt
are diverse, ranging from call center services, business process outsourcing,
digital services centers, software development, and IT project management, to
advanced services in the fields of software integrated with the automotive
industry, semiconductor and electronic circuit design, and other high-value
specializations.
Talaat emphasized that the government continues to work
on developing human capital and expanding technological specializations, which
strengthens Egypt's position as a preferred destination for international
companies in the outsourcing industry and maximizes Egypt's digital exports.
IGT Solutions began operating in the Egyptian market in 2022, establishing a customer service center serving multiple global markets in more than eight languages, including English, Spanish, Turkish, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, and Italian. The center reflects the vast competencies and skills of Egypt's youth, as the company relies on professional staff trained according to the highest international standards to provide outstanding customer experience and multilingual support services.
