El-Sherbiny listened to a detailed account of the Egypt Real Estate Platform's operating mechanism, similar international experiences, and the desired objectives of launching the Egypt Real Estate Platform.
The meeting also addressed the methods used
by the Ministry of Housing to offer its real estate products, the target groups
of the offerings, and the classifications of those involved in the Egyptian
real estate market.
In this context, the Minister of Housing
emphasized the importance of taking into account the unique nature of the
Egyptian urban experience and the Egyptian real estate market. He called for
the development of a clear vision and specific objectives that can be
implemented directly with the Ministry of Housing, in coordination with
relevant authorities.
The Minister of Housing reaffirmed the
commitment to to fully supporting the Egypt Real Estate Platform and related
entities, with the objective of exporting Egyptian real estate, improving
sector governance, and developing strategies to attract foreign investment.
For his part, Ahmed El-Batrawy expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, noting that the Egypt Real Estate Platform aims to govern the presentation and circulation of real estate products, in addition to expediting the exchange of information about Egyptian products in real estate markets. It also aims to develop a vision for developing performance in the real estate sector, including training aspects. It serves as an information center for Egyptian real estate, a database, and an integrated system aimed at establishing a central real estate market to facilitate transactions for real estate sector stakeholders and citizens.
