The tour included visits to "Ghazl 1" factory, the largest in the world, "Ghazl 4" factory, and "Textile Preparations 1" factory, where the Minister reviewed production and operation rates. He also inspected the progress of work in the second phase factories such as "Ghazl 6", "Textile Complex", and "Dyeing Factory".
The visit was not limited to the new factories, but also
included inspecting the old factories to ensure their operation. The Minister
stressed the importance of preserving and developing these assets.
At the end of the visit, the Minister and the Governor of
Gharbia shared the Ramadan Iftar meal with the workers, praised their efforts,
and called on them to continue working diligently.
The Minister emphasized the importance of the textile
industry, noting that the development project has made tangible progress, and
the remaining phases are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
He stressed the need to utilize modern technology and develop workers' skills, and was keen to honour the families of the workers who died in a previous accident.
