Housing Minister inspects Mazarine compound in New Alamein City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, began his tour today in New Alamein City by inspecting the "Mazarine" compound, a model of integrated urban development.

The visit comes as part of ongoing field monitoring of national projects under implementation in New Alamein City, aimed at accelerating the pace of work. He was accompanied by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the New Alamein City Authority.

The Minister toured several areas within the compound where construction is underway, checking the quality of finishes in a number of units and chalets. The Mazarine compound is being developed on 707 acres on the southern shore of the Alamein Lakes, overlooking the beachfront towers. It includes various villa and chalet models, as well as apartment buildings, totaling 1,428 villa and chalet units and 7,999 residential  units. The project has reached an advanced stage of completion, combining luxury living, exceptional views, and promising investment opportunities.

During his tour, El-Sherbiny reviewed the plan for receiving the units and villas from the companies, the status of deliveries to reservation holders, and the operation and provision of services. He also assessed the progress in the areas still under construction, directing efforts to complete green spaces and site coordination, accelerate the remaining work, review final interior and façade finishes, and intensify supply deliveries.

The Minister stressed the need to speed up work ahead of Ramadan, dividing tasks into shifts during the holy month, quickly leveling internal roads in ongoing construction areas, and removing stockpiles and waste.
