The move comes as part of the airline’s plan to meet growing travel demand and strengthen its presence in European markets.
The airline stated that its direct flights between Cairo and
Manchester will increase to 10 flights per week, up from 7 flights per week,
effective July 11, 2026. The decision aligns with EgyptAir’s vision to expand
operational capacity on a number of international routes.
The announcement comes as EgyptAir seeks to offer more
travel options for customers, support air traffic and tourism movement between
the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Kingdom, and enhance air connectivity
between Cairo and several major European cities.
EgyptAir currently operates 28 weekly flights between Cairo
and British cities during the current winter season. The schedule includes 21
direct flights between Cairo and London and 7 flights between Cairo and
Manchester.
