The UN’s report, "World Economic Situation and Prospects 2026," included positive forecasts for Egypt’s economy, stating that the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is expected to grow by 4.5% this year, rising to 4.7% in 2027.
The Media Center of the Egyptian Cabinet commented on the
report, noting that these projections reflect an optimistic outlook for Egypt’s
economic future.
The Center highlighted that this is attributed to the
continued implementation of the government’s economic reform program, as well
as successful efforts to attract foreign investment and enhance financial
flows.
The statement added that all these factors contribute to
strengthening economic stability and supporting sustainable growth in the
future.
