The visit aims to expand cooperation and attract new investments from major American firms into the Egyptian market, according to a ministry statement.
Talaat is scheduled to discuss investment opportunities in
Egypt's IT sector, highlighting its competitive advantages. The meetings will
also explore new avenues for knowledge transfer and attracting more US
investment, particularly in outsourcing, electronics design and manufacturing,
cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
The minister will also participate in the US Executive Forum of the Global Semiconductor Alliance. The forum brings together industry leaders, executives, and experts to exchange knowledge and explore new opportunities within the global semiconductor value chain.
